Day One and Two

Ok, I've been a little unfaithful to this project. I strayed for six months and am back. Things got hectic, what can I say? I ment to come back to this project earlier but now is a better time than ever. Last month my beloved (and very first) digital camera was stolen and since then I have bought an even better one. Who ever said shopping couldn't be a form of therapy? Anyways, I'm going to try really hard this time to document my life on film for 365 days. Photo One was taken on September 16th and Photo Two was taken on September 17th. Photo One is basically a shot that was take outside the Student Union as I waited for my roommate to get out of class. My class let out an hour early and because we carpool I had a little time to kill. Photo Two is a sign painted on the side of the Chinese restaurant that we ate at tonight. It's advertising Ali's bakery, which is this really good place to pick up some homemade goods. The food at both places is pretty fabulous, especially on a college budget :)

Day Thirty Two and Thirty Three

I've really gotten out of the habit of carrying around my camera. This has resulted in some pretty last minute attempts to take a picture before the day has passed. Case in point my last group of pictures...not that exciting. Day Thirty Two's picture reminds me of the still lifes I would have to draw for art class. I don't know, I kind of like it and might just use it to practice. Day Thirty Three, today's picture, just reminds me that I need to clean out my car :)

Day Nine Through Thirty One

Ok...ok. I know! I haven't been all that faithful in terms of updating daily. It's a lot harder than it seems, especially when you have a busy life, so give a girl a break! I HAVE kept up with my pictures, taking them daily. Because I'm so far behind I'm not going to write about every picture on this post....instead I'm just going to post and if you have any questions or comments, well that's what the comment box is for :)

Day Six, Seven, and Eight

This weekend was really busy for me and I didn't have the time to make an entry for each individual picture. So I've combined the days into one entry but rest assured that these pictures where taken on separate days. From top to bottom, the pictures are placed in chronological order. Day Six's picture is of a part of my bookshelf. I touched it up a bit so make the colors a bit more exaggerated. On Day Seven, a group of us went a cemetery out in the middle of nowhere for some cheap thrills. I'm more or less a skeptic when it comes to ghosts and pair that up with the fact that I was taking pictures the whole time probably made me a killjoy to have around. Still, I would say it was worth it. Finally there is Day Eight's picture which was taken today....the word uniformity comes to mind :)

Day Five

I just want to take time out right now to damn everyone and their stupid New Year's resolutions. What used to be an empty gym has now been filled with an obscene amount of people (so much so that I now have to wait twenty minutes just to grab a treadmill). I'm hoping that it will clear out by February though as that's when people usually chuck their resolutions out the window. Snowed again today....I tried to capture it but I don't think you can see it all to well unless you are looking for it :)

Day Four

Other than going to class, I pretty much spent most of my day in bed (and not for the good reason). I'm getting really behind on all my readings for all my classes so I just laid out and spent the day highlighting all my books. I thought I was going to have to resort to taking a picture of something in my bed room. However, I did get out at the last minute to go over to the girl's apartment to take a break from studying and along the way came across this image. I'm pretty sure it's the agricultural department's greenhouses but they never seem to grow anything there. The contrast with the light and dark to make for pretty cool picture though :)

Day Three

This town pretty much has it's own biosphere. As if we didn't already have enough snow, it snowed again today. I don't even remember the forecast calling for it but the weather here is so damn fickle that it would not surprise me if it was not there to begin with. So to celebrate this fact I'm posting a snowy picture :)
